Simone was born and reared in Jersey City, NJ. She has a passionate love for God and people. She has lived from tragedy to triumph, from hopeless to hope-filled, and from merely surviving to thriving and for that reason, she is committed to bringing healing to wounded hearts through the power of God’s grace. She is a naturally gifted listener and easily gets to the heart of an issue.

Simone’s avid interest in reading and the power of language led her to complete her undergraduate education at New Jersey City University earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in English/Literature. She taught English and Reading in the public-school system and later completed the Master of Divinity degree from Princeton Theological Seminary with a concentration in Pastoral Care and a certificate in Women’s Studies. While there, she earned the honor of receiving the John Allen Swink Award for Excellence in Preaching.

Simone, along with her husband Allen, founded ReVision Ministries in 2012. Together, they have re-visioned church and restored the preeminence of teaching by hosting ReVision Men and ReVision Women online Bible studies each week and a monthly online worship experience. With all that she does, Simone’s greatest joy is life with her husband, daughter Nicole, and Skoodles the cat. Her life grounding scripture is Zechariah 4:6, “…Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ Says the Lord of Hosts.”
