Geraldine Isme

Geraldine was born and raised in Trenton, NJ, and is currently residing in Chesterfield, NJ. She graduated from Bloomfield College with a Bachelors Degree in Psychology. A few years later Geraldine earned her Masters Degree in Human Services from Rider University.

After that, Geraldine felt a calling to serve in the counseling/therapy field and attended the College of New Jersey where she received a degree as an Education Specialist in the field of Marriage and Family Therapy.

Geraldine felt the call to reach people through counseling at her first job out of college. Her experience as a counselor at Anchor House, a shelter for runaways, ignited her drive and passion to assist and encourage others in the area of crisis and conflict. From that point on, she continued to earn education credits and served in a variety of positions, including as a therapist, an outreach counselor, and as an education specialist.

Currently, Geraldine is continuing her counseling work by serving with Transformed by Grace ministries while working on receiving her NJ LMFT license. Her passion for people, positive energy, and sense of fun are also made evident in the way she serves in the local church where she mentors teens and teaches dance to their youth and young adult dance ministries.

Geraldine’s favorite scripture is Philippians 1:6 “He that began a good work in you shall complete it until the day of Christ’s return.”
