Ministry and Prayer Update – March 2015

Dearest Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
Happy March! I do believe warmer days are on the way for us! But, whether we are in snow boots or flip-flops, let us each choose to “keep in step with the Spirit!” Galatians 5:25.
February 17-18 – Over these two days, Sylane Mack spoke at Mathom House in two advanced therapeutic group sessions with the adolescent males and their therapists, and in their monthly Family Group Meeting. The connection between this Rehab-Correctional facility for adolescent sexual perpetrators and TBG is long-standing and deep. God’s powerful message of healing, forgiveness and transformation offered to all is deeper still!
February 22 – Sylane spoke at Restoration Church a full month earlier than planned. Yet, fully lined up with God’s plans as Pastor Ross Manders (who was hospitalized unexpectedly) had just spoken on Biblical Sexuality the week prior. God’s perfect timing was used to open hearts, minds and spirits to be encouraged and challenged by God’s message to receive the gift of forgiveness Christ offers to each of us and to offer His freeing forgiveness to all others. DeAnne Harland and Tim Mack served as the TBG team, with Keith Brown, a TBG Board Member, introducing Sylane to the congregation.

March 9-16 – in Aberdeen, Scotland – Sylane will present “Harvest of Hearts” at the Women’s Conference for the Gerrard Street Baptist Church (GSBC) of Aberdeen on March 13-14. Then, on March 15, Sylane will also speak at the monthly gathering of men and women called Cafe Church after GSBC‘s more formal Sunday service. Jean Heiss, a dear sister in Christ, is graciously giving her time and heart to minister, support and serve with Sylane throughout this time in Scotland. Please pray for God to lead everything that is said and done as Jean and Sylane prepare for this trip and, then, join with Emma Longhurst (our Scottish connection) and the leadership team at GSBC. Pray that God’s message of freedom, healing, forgiveness and transformation in Christ, and our call to be ambassadors for Christ, will powerfully impact all who listen! May countless lives be transformed! May God be fully honored!

March 24 – Sylane will be speaking at the Women’s Inspirational Network’s (W.I.N.) Annual Soup and Salad Night at First Baptist Church in Allentown, PA. The evening’s event begins at 6 pm, and will include fun, food and fellowship along with Sylane’s presentation, “Jesus Said What?! Love Your Enemies!” This is an open event to all women – so please come, and bring a friend! Interested in attending? Contact Michelle Orr: or call the church office: 610.432.3414. Please pray that all who attend will clearly sense Christ’s love, His grace and truth in all that is experienced and heard!

April 18 – at Bayside Chapel in Barnegat, NJ. Sylane will be leading a two-session conference, from 9 am – 12 pm – “Love That Never Fails – Forgiveness That Frees” for the men and women of Bayside and all those in the community who want to hear about, and grow in, the grace and truth of the unfailing love and freeing forgiveness offered through our Lord Jesus Christ!
