Ministry and Prayer Updates – December 2014

Dearest Partner in Grace,

Happy and Blessed season of Advent!

Christ our Lord – God’s Holy Son and our Messiah – has come! Jesus came to us first as a baby boy destined to be God’s man, the only holy and wholly obedient one, who was born to die for the forgiveness of our sins. A love far beyond our understanding. Mercy and grace far beyond anything we deserve. Yet! Jesus came, humble and obedient. Jesus came, with power and authority. Jesus came, healing, freeing and transforming lives. Jesus came, saving His people from their sins. Jesus came to save you and me! Jesus came, crushing the power of sin and death through His outrageously brutal and sacrificial death and through His victorious and eternal resurrection! And Jesus will come again! All praise be to our God!

May each one of us more deeply and more fully – and maybe even for the first time – understand what Christmas is all about: The birth of Jesus is the tangible and observable evidence of our God’s interrupting, intervening work of redemption, restoration and renewal unfolding in human history. Jesus, God’s Holy Son, was born to us as a human being, coming to us as our Immanuel, God with us, with a divine purpose and an eternal plan to accomplish! Jesus grew as the Son of Man, fully trusting and obeying His God and Father every moment of His life, even to the point of death on a cross so that we who are lost in our sins and destined to die in our mortality would be saved and given the gift of eternal life with our God. Our Heavenly Father did all this because of His amazing, incomprehensible and unfailing love for each and every one of us! This Christmas, may each of us celebrate the humble birth of Jesus as He came to us as our Messiah and Savior! May each of us celebrate with great hope as we await His triumphant coming again as our King of kings and Lord of lords to take us with Him to our eternal home!  All praise be to our God!

For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many. – Mark 10:45

Again the high priest asked him, “Are you the Messiah, the Son of the Blessed One?” “I am,” said Jesus. “And you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Mighty One and coming on the clouds of heaven.”
Mark 14:61-62

For each person to be deeply moved to trust and follow our God, God’s Word, and God’s Way as they read CONVINCED! – God’s transforming love story written in Sylane’s life.
For each Counseling Session and each Conference Speaking Opportunity – that every person with whom we interact will allow the unfailing love and transforming grace and truth of our Lord Jesus to bring salvation, healing, freedom and renewal to their lives!
That God will open many, many more opportunities for Sylane to speak – locally, nationally and internationally – about the power of God’s love, grace and truth to heal, save and transform every life! You know she’s Convinced! Please let the contacts YOU have know about Transformed by Grace – and the love and healing power of our God that is made known through this ministry!

For each of us who serve on the Board and Staff of TBG to be fully obedient to our Lord Jesus and greatly effective as Christ’s ambassadors!

Your support keeps our TBG Staff available to so many people who are searching for God’s grace and truth, love and forgiveness, hope and healing!

Remember to join us on the 10th day of each month as we passionately PRAY for God’s life-giving, life-freeing, transforming work to be done in the lives of all with whom we minister – at conferences, counseling sessions, on corners and in coffee shops!
