Our God wants to be the Lord of every whatever in our lives!
Whatever we think.
Whatever we say.
Whatever we do.
Whatever we want.
Whatever we care about.
Whatever relationships we’re in.
Whatever circumstances we’re in.
Whatever we need to forgive.
Whatever we need forgiveness for.
Whatever condition of mind, body and soul we’re in.
Whatever gifts we’ve been given to serve God.
Whatever we need to carry out God’s plans for our lives.
Whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others,
as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.
1 Peter 4:10
Whatever happens, conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ.
But the LORD said to me, “Do not say, ‘I am too young.’ [Or ‘I am too old!’]
You must go to everyone I send you to and say whatever I command you.”
You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you
so that you might go and bear fruit – fruit that will last –
and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you.
Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and he will establish your plans.
Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable –
if anything is excellent or praiseworthy – think about such things.
Whatever. Wherever. Whenever. However. With whomever. Let’s each choose, as children of God, to do everything in the full awareness of who we are in Jesus Christ. Choosing to live in the love and freedom, grace and truth, power and purpose to which our God has called us.
May we each let God be the Lord of every whatever in our lives!
