September 6–Prepared and Pre-Prayered To Be Christ’s Ambassadors…

Finally, brothers, pray for us that the message of the Lord may spread rapidly and be honored, just as it was with you…May the Lord direct your hearts into God’s love and Christ’s perseverance. 2 Thessalonians 3:1,5

I am so thankful that the apostle Paul knew how much he constantly needed prayer in order to do what our Holy God had asked him to do. I need prayer always…time in prayer myself with my ABBA…and prayer support and strength from my brothers and sisters in Christ.

None of us are in this faith journey—this call to be an Ambassador of Jesus Christ—are meant to be individuals who must individually accomplish the task our God has given us: To spread the love, grace and truth of Jesus Christ. For this we need God and we need each other.

We have the sure promise of the Lord’s presence, love, grace, eternal encouragement, good hope and strength to be with us always. We need to continually go before our Lord humbly, quietly and in faith to receive these. AND we need others—our brothers, sisters, friends, mentors and children in faith—to continually lift us there in prayer…to continually guard us there in prayer…and there will be days or nights, that we will need the love, strength and courage of their prayers to bring us there when we ourselves are worn out and battle-weary.

And each of us are to take on this prayer supporting role for our brothers, sisters, friends, mentors and children in faith. We are to point their hearts, minds, souls and spirits—just as they are to do for us—always back to the truth of God’s love…always back to the power of Christ’s perseverance.

When we do this, we, as Christ’s ambassadors, will be prepared—and pre-prayered—to share the message of our Lord so that it may spread rapidly and be honored by many!

In love, peace and purposeful passion,                                                               Sylane
