May 19–Sweet Fruit and Eternal Effects

I really love to be peaceful and quiet–really tucked-right-in quiet. And in this peaceful, quiet place there is a deep confidence in who I am in God.

It is because of the love and power, the grace and the truth of our Righteous, Holy LORD that I can be tucked right into the mind-set of being peaceful and quiet and confident.  And that’s a very good place to be.

The fruit of righteousness will be peace;

the effect of righteousness will be quietness and confidence forever.  Isaiah 32: 17.

Ahhhhhhhh…breathe deeply, slowly, quietly. And take time to thank our God of Righteousness for all He has done for us. Through the sacrificial death of Jesus, “God made Him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God.” (2 Corinthians 5)

Ahhhhhhhh…and in believing and trusting in Jesus as my Savior and Lord, I receive His righteousness. Wow.

Ahhhhhhhh…and as I live out my relationship with God–being held tightly by God’s love and power, choosing to trust Him and obey Him–I receive the sweet, good fruit of Christ’s righteousness in me and its life-transforming effects in my life–now and forever. Peace…Quietness…Confidence…Ahhhhhhhh.

Thank You, LORD, for the sweet fruit of Peace that comes from Your Righteousness and the deep, eternal effects of Quietness and Confidence we have in You!…Ahhhhhhhh…

In love, peace and purposeful passion,                                                               Sylane

  1. Hi Sylane, Thanks for your encouraging words and interest in the Rainforest Strategy. I have always been called to the marketplace, so this is such a great fit for me. I could write my own chapter right now about “what happens when women say yes to God”! I believe I’ve mentioned to you already that the word transformation is a key word for me this year. So happy to know you in this journey as we are truly transformed by grace!
