I pray that, especially during this Christmas season, each and every one of you will know the passionate love of our God who sent His One and Only Son Jesus to be born into our world to destroy the powers of sin and death and interrupt and transform our lives to live as His children! As God’s children, we are called “to be conformed to the likeness of His Son…”
– Romans 8:29.What does being like Jesus look like? Sometimes being really odd and risking yourself in the little things and the big things.Today it was a little thing. I sat near a 20-something woman at Starbucks with lots of bags filled with stuff, and crackers and water on her table, but no coffee. And a really big wad of toilet paper stuck to her shoe.
Jesus washed feet.
So, I went over and asked my sister if I could take that off for her. “Yes! Oh, my! Thank you!” and a surprised, sweet smile was her response as I bent down, and with napkins in hand, removed just a little bit of the crud that sticks to all of us in this life.
Love in the big things. Love in the small things. Risk yourself to share the kindness and love of Jesus. The kindness and love of God that we all desperately need.
So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets. – Matthew 7:12
And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased. – Hebrews 13:16
Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you. – Ephesians 4:32
UPCOMING MINISTRY EVENTS!
December 18 & 19, 2015 – Sylane Mack has been invited by dear friends and followers of Jesus, Jean and Tom Heiss, to share her newest teaching, Christmas Turned Upside Right!, with two different groups they’re hosting in their Lee, MA home on Friday evening and Saturday afternoon. Please PRAY that God will fully and freely fill their home, and each of us present, with His unfailing love, perfect Word and powerful Spirit! May we all come away with a greater sense of awe and a deeper understanding of the outrageous, sacrificial, pure gift of love that Jesus is! May God turn each of our worlds upside right this Christmas, and always, with His grace and truth!
January 5, 6 & 7, 2016 – Sylane Mack
will minister once again at Mathom House, the Bucks County
Rehabilitation and Treatment Facility for adolescent sexual perpetrators. TBG and Mathom House have had a strong and continuous connection since 2003, which has allowed God’s transforming grace and truth, hope and purpose to be clearly spoken into the lives of Mathom’s clientele, their families, and to Mathom’s amazing therapeutic staff. On January 5, 6 & 7, Sylane will speak in three different therapeutic group sessions with the young men and Mathom’s staff members. In the evening of Jan 5, Sylane will also speak at the Parents and Family Group Meeting. Please PRAY for God to continue to bless this amazing relationship between Mathom and TBG so that many, many lives will be saved, renewed and transformed by the love and mercy of Jesus Christ!
Many other opportunities to minister at retreats and conferences are coming up for us in 2016! Please PRAY about booking an event in your area! Encourage your contacts around the world to invite Sylane Mack to speak at their events! You can be confident she will speak God’s message of love, forgiveness, hope and transformation – through His Word and by His Spirit!
